Nothingness.


Stretched out on the grass.
If I wanted someone to lie beside me, I'd want you.
If I wanted someone to hold my hand, I'd want you.
If I wanted someone to stare at, I'd want you.
If I wanted someone to fall asleep with in the cool shade of the trees on that chilly winter day, I'd want you.
And if I wanted nothingness, I'd still want you.

And I'm not the only one staring at the sun.
Afraid of what you'd find
if you took a look inside
I'm not just deaf and dumb
staring at the sun.
Not the only one who's happy to go blind.
